The CPL 2021 schedule has been announced. The tournament will begin on August 26, with a match between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinbago Knight Riders. Past Champions
The current season will witness the ninth edition of the Caribbean Premier League. The 2020 edition of the CPL was won by Trinbago Knight Riders who beat St Lucia Zouks in the final. TKR are the most successful franchise, having won the title on three separate occasions, including the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Barbados Tridents and Jamaica Tallawahs have won it twice each, while Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel have won it once.
