In this article, we are going to preview the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad scheduled to be held at Sharjah on 31 October 2020. Read on to see our match analytics and odds followed by our Hyderabad vs Bangalore match prediction.

Match Analytics and Odds

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad clashed in Dubai on 21 September. Though RCB edged a win by 10 runs, SRH lost it from a winning position through a series of quirky mistakes. Although both sides have won and lost two each of their next four games, RCB have a slightly stronger combination of players, especially with the welcome return to form by skipper Virat Kohli. RCB’s decision to put Udana in place of Steyn has proved a sensible move. On the contrary, SRH have four clear overseas player choices but they are struggling to find the best replacement for Bhuvaneshwar Kumar whom they have since lost to an unfortunate injury. Both teams have done better batting first and might prefer to be first to make use of the wicket and put runs on the board on a run-friendly Sharjah wicket.

Based on recent form and team combinations, we expect Royal Challengers Bangalore to win the second IPL 2020 meeting between the sides on 31 October 2020.

Probable playing XIs:

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB): D Padikkal, AJ Finch, V Kohli (c), AB de Villiers (wk), M Ali, W Sundar, S Dube, I Udana, NA Saini, Md Siraj, YS Chahal.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH): D Warner (c and wk), D Bairstow, M Pandey, K Williamson, P Garg, A Sharma, Samad Khan, T Natarajan, S Sharma, K Ahmed.

Match Predictions

We predict that RCB will win the match against SRH, the second game between the teams to be held at Sharjah on 31 October. Having considered the odds quoted at 4Rbet, here are our cricket betting tips. We favour Royal Challengers Bangalore to beat Sunrisers Hyderabad on 31 October 2020:

Who will win the match? – Royal Challengers Bangalore

Top Batsman (Runs Scored) – Virat Kohli (RCB), David Warner (SRH)

Top Bowler (Wickets taken) – YS Chahal (RCB), R Khan (SRH)

Most SixesA Finch (RCB), David Warner (SRH)

Man of the Match – Virat Kohli

Team Scores Batting first – RCB 190+, SRH 180+

Summary

While Finch, De Villiers and Udana select themselves, RCB must decide who will be their 4th overseas player. On the batting-friendly Sharjah wicket, RCB would surely prefer Moeen Ali’s all-round skills to shore up their batting. Among the bowlers, Udana and Chahal have taken wickets regularly, while Sundar has proved to be consistently economical. For SRH, Warner, Bairstow and Pandey are three top-order batsmen in good form. Williamson could also come to the party in the batting paradise of Sharjah. Among the bowlers, Rashid Khan has been outstandingly good and T Natarajan has proved to be a decent death-bowling option. However, against a strong RCB batting lineup, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar’s absence is likely to hurt SRH.
