Atlanta Braves vs Washington Nationals, August 15, MLB 2021 Match Prediction

August 15, 2021 8:05 pm
Things are about to get even more interesting in the NL East as the Braves meet the Nationals again after their set of 3 games played on the 6th to 8th of August. This game will be the third in a series of three from the 14th to the 15th. The game will be played at 10:30 pm IST.
In the previous trio of games, we saw the Nationals, who were relatively the underdogs, snatch a surprise win in the second game from their three-time defending champions. In doing so, they ended their bad run of 5 losing streaks. The game ended 3-2 as the Nationals came from behind to carry the day.
The euphoria of the second-day win was quickly put away by a superior display by the Braves on Sunday as they went back to losing ways, 5-4 to Brian Snitker’s team, who had already won the opener 8-4.
In all honesty, this hasn’t been the best of runs for the Nationals as they have dropped 6 out of 7 games in succession and currently trail the table toppers, Philly, by nine games. They are fourth on the log, just three games away from the Miami Marlins. Their five-game streak has been LWLLL.
Things aren’t looking too bright in the injuries department as their RF picked up a knee injury in Sunday’s game. SP Austin Voth has undisclosed injury concerns. Alex Avila also sustained a calf injury in the game on the 6th of August.
On the other hand, the Braves have had some kind of redemption this season. Things looked very bleak when they lost the services of Ronald Acuña Jr. early on due to a terrible knee problem, but they’ve somehow been able to propel themselves to winning ways, and that is commendable. They currently occupy second place in the standings, two games away from their rivals, the Phillies, who are at the top.
Good things have been happening in the Braves Camp as they were cruising on a season-high fourth game win streak until they lost on Saturday to the Nationals, they have however rekindled that winning streak with a good display on Sunday, with exciting displays from replacement Ehire Adriana who came on for Freddie Freeman. Freeman stepped aside in the Saturday game due to an upper respiratory tract infection and did not feature on Sunday.
Match Predictions and Betting Odds
In this game, just judging from the precedents and team form, it isn’t hard to see a big steal from the Braves. The game outcome will also depend on the happenings in the first two games in the series. All in all, we expect to see a Braves win.
Summary
The game may seem like a walkover for the Braves, but the tides may change, so keep your eye out for the preceding games. Place bets at 4rabet and win big.
