The Indian Premier League is one of the most popular and hottest T20 tournaments in the world, where there is a real battle in every game, and until the end, there is no certainty which team will win.
This season of the tournament, conditions for players will be completely different due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected people both psychologically and physically. So one of the main motivating factors for them will be looking at their past performances and getting motivated to continue their successful streak or work harder to improve on what they’ve done in previous seasons. For this, there are various lists with team ratings, personal qualities and players, and more.
IPL ranking batsman
3. Suresh Raina
Chinna Tala of the most successful IPL franchise, Suresh Raina is one of the most beloved cricketers in this country, especially in Chennai and Tamil Nadu. His remarkable consistency in pooling runs over 12 seasons has made him the most successful CSK figure outside of their top player MS Dhoni.
Suresh Raina may have struggled in the past three or four seasons, but no batsman could match his consistency in his first eight seasons. The stylish lefty batsman has been a key part of all three titles won by CSK and continues to be a part of this amazing division.
Raina is the second-highest goalscorer in the IPL with a staggering 5,368 runs in 189 innings and was the first player to complete 5,000 runs in the tournament. He is also the highest-scoring player in IPL history with 193 games.
2. Virat Koli
Virat Kohli’s progress in the tournament has not been as stable as that of Suresh Raina or David Warner, but after becoming the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore, he beat off a level that few have played in this format. If not for the first three or four seasons, he might have topped the list.
Coley, in the company of Chris Gale and AB de Villiers, raised huge sums for entertainment and made RCB the center of recreational cricket. He was close to triumph in the tournament but lost. He won the Orange Cap once in 2016 where he scored 977 runs in a season, the most batsman in a single season.
Kohli is the highest-scoring scorer in IPL history with 5,412 attempts on an average of 37.84. He scored five centuries and 36 half-centuries and ranks second on the list of the most fifty-odd points in the tournament, second only to Australian mascot David Warner.
1. David Warner
For his terrific running consistency in important games, it must be acknowledged that David Warner has been the best batsman in IPL history so far. Starting his career in 2009 with the Delhi Capitals, Warner scored over 400 runs for the first time in his last season with the Capitals in 2013, and his standard has never dropped.
In five consecutive record-breaking seasons, he has made over 500 runs and won the orange cap three times (more than any other player). He also led the Sunrisers to a championship victory in 2016, and in his last comeback season, he hit 692 runs in just 12 hits, including 9 out of 50 or more.
Warner has a total of 4,706 runs in just 126 games with a strike rate of over 140. He also has the best average batsman with over 1,000 runs to his name. He still has a few good seasons to solidify his position at the helm, and it will be interesting to see if the others on the list can get even a little closer to the Australian.
