Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City enjoyed a superb weekend prior to the international break – beating Manchester United and gaining ground on Chelsea and Liverpool.
Ederson continues to be the first choice keeper for City, with Ruben Dias and John Stones currently the first-choice pairing in front of him.
Rodri has been tasked with keeping things ticking in midfield, something he has done well this term, whilst Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan have been in sublime form ahead of him.
Width and creativity are a huge part of how City play, and Jack Grealish and Phil Foden could occupy those areas, with Gabriel Jesus potentially employed down the middle, against a side he has a great record against.
Everton
It has been a season of two halves for Rafa Benitez’s Everton side, who started the campaign in great nick but have been winless in their last 5 league matches.
Consequently, the Toffees find themselves in 11th place in the table with 11 games and the blue half of Merseyside need to see clear improvement soon.
Jordan Pickford is very much England’s number 1, and he plays an important role for Everton too.
